Change pH in water using bleach?

Alright im doing this water challenge and im trying to bring the pH of water to 7 (neutral). If I know the pH of the water how can I calculate how much bleach (pH 11.5) I need to add to bring a 1/2 gallon sample to around 7?Change pH in water using bleach?
there is a special indicator i dont remember what its called starts with a P. If it is too strong of an alkali, it will turn pink. If there is too much acid, it is clear. what you have to do to work out if it is neutral is this. it requires patience. put in a drop of alkali, and then shake it. it should turn pink and then go back to clear. do this until it doesn't turn clear. after about a minute it SHOULD turn back to clear but not directly after you shake it. you have to keep track of how much alkali you add in. if it doesn't turn back to clear, you have to do the same with the acid but no need to shake it and it should instantly turn clear.

this process is titration.

hope it helped :)Change pH in water using bleach?
Don't try it. I'ts possible, but it's dangerous. If you put too much acid, the Hydrogen ion (H+), will decrease ,making the solution very acidic, and vice versa. It is possible, but I would ask someone who Really knows what their doing.
